Welcome to Michigan Humane's Critical Care Fund Center. This year, we will welcome more than 6,000 animals into our emergency care through cruelty and rescue or abandonment. Each will require a variety of life-saving surgeries, medications, treatments, diagnostics, and compassionate care. You can contribute to their critical care through the Critical Care Fund. Here we highlight animals in our shelters who require urgent veterinary care. By donating to an animal, you can help cover the cost of their care and other animals like them to ensure they receive a second chance at life and a home.

About Michigan Humane’s Critical Care Fund Center

When an animal arrives to Michigan Humane needing urgent or extraordinary care, the Critical Care Fund Center brings animal-lovers, like you, together to help that animal. Help abused or abandoned animals get emergency surgery and urgent veterinary care. Don’t worry, we don’t wait until an animal has reached its fundraising goal to provide medical care. Timing for surgery, care and rehabilitation is based on what is medically best for the animal. We’re simply raising funds to pay the bills that come afterwards!  Any excess support for one animal will be used to care for the next animal that comes into our care.
